NTC Telly Winners

We’re excited to share some good news: The National Theatre for Children (NTC) has been named a Gold Winner at the 47th Annual Telly Awards for the custom video, Land of Smiles: The Grin Prix!

Created in partnership with Delta Dental of Missouri, The Grin Prix! received top honors in the Education & Training category, recognizing excellence in educational video production and storytelling.

The project was developed entirely by NTC’s creative team—from concept and script development to production and post-production. Designed for K–3 audiences, the video brings Delta Dental of Missouri’s beloved Land of Smiles® characters, Captain Super Grin and Terri Tooth Fairy, into an all-new adventure that teaches healthy habits through a dynamic combination of live-action performance and animation.

In The Grin Prix!, students join the heroes as they face off against the mischievous Caz Cavity and his mother, Cazzidy. Along the way, young viewers learn about oral health, nutrition, physical activity, and overall wellness through an engaging, age-appropriate story.

The Telly Awards celebrate excellence in video and television across all screens and receive entries from leading production companies, agencies, brands, and organizations around the world. Earning Gold recognition reflects the creativity, quality, and educational impact that NTC strives to bring to every program we create.

For more than four decades, NTC has partnered with organizations across the country to turn important messages into memorable educational experiences. This award is a testament to what can happen when strong educational objectives meet creative storytelling and audience-focused engagement.

We’re grateful to Delta Dental of Missouri for their partnership and proud of the talented NTC team who brought this project to life. Most importantly, we’re excited that The Grin Prix! will continue reaching students across the country through additional Delta Dental programs, helping even more young learners build healthy habits that last a lifetime.

Award-winning creative is only valuable when it achieves real-world outcomes—and that’s where NTC specializes. This recognition reinforces the value of investing in creative educational outreach that drives measurable engagement. This honor highlights the impact that strong partnerships can have in expanding educational reach and community outcomes.
